Small wind / Buyer questions
Application integration
Why can a process ventilation load continue before and after the main production task?
The short answer
The accepted process sequence can require ventilation before a production action, during mode transitions or after it ends. Those periods remain part of the load even when the main task is inactive. Use the actual booth or process documentation; production-machine run time alone does not describe the full ventilation service or authorize a changed sequence.
Identify the documented operating modes
Obtain the installed equipment's sequence and applicable process approval. Global Finishing Solutions describes configuration-dependent purge and cooling modes for its booths. Their timing and settings must not be copied into an unrelated installation. Distinguish the purpose of each ventilation state instead of labelling every nonproduction minute as unnecessary standby.
Measure the complete accepted campaign
Align fan, heating and control input with the actual mode timeline, including transition periods. Identify which meters include shared equipment and which components are separately supplied. A fan input during an approved purge is not automatically the same as its input in a recirculating cure mode. Keep any non-electric heat source separate from electrical demand.
Record the actual start and finish of each required mode. A production order's clock times can omit pre-operation and post-operation service, even when they accurately describe the time spent on the main task.
Keep energy optimization within process authority
Ask the owner which entire tasks can be scheduled and which begun sequences must finish using an accepted supply. Wind variation should not invent a shorter purge, remove required airflow or prematurely end cooldown. This page provides no hazardous-process operating procedure or safe waiting duration. Give the integrator the approved mode/input schedule and control boundary. Report accepted wind contribution alongside the retained source needed for mandatory periods. No MARSTON paint-process feature, ventilation guarantee or direct control over a third-party booth is established by general load planning.
